The journal aims at publishing original research but not limited to the topics on diseases involving the gastrointestinal tract (oesophagus, stomach, small intestine, large intestine and rectum, anus), Endoscopy (including imaging), Epidemiology, Diagnosis and screening, Gastro-oesophageal reflux disease, Oral disease, Oesophageal disease, Intestinal disease (Small intestine, Large intestine, Rectum and anus), disease of the liver, gallbladder, biliary tree, and pancreas, Functional gastrointestinal disorders, Hepatitis, Ulcers, Diseases and complications related to viral hepatitis, all aspects of surgery (including transplantation and biopsies) liver transplant, Nutrition (including digestion, refluxes, allergies, therapy), liver cirrhosis and bleeding, Gastrointestinal bleeding. GHJ provides a platform for rapid exchange of scientific information between physicians and scientists across the globe.
GHJ is a bimonthly journal and follows the single blinded peer reviewed process and publishes research and review articles, short communications, editorials, mini review articles, clinical abstracts, case reports, imaging and graphical abstracts reporting a case in the form of images are also welcomed for submissions from the authors.
